Description

The Army, Fort Carson, Colorado intends to award a purchase order for all labor, tools, materials, vehicles, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide Portable Latrines and services for Fort Carson, CO. This is sole source procu rement using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures authority for Other Than Full and Open Competition FAR 6.302-5 and sole source award to a service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern FAR 19.1406. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUO TES, however; any service-disabled veteran-owned small business firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer with in then (10) days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting ev idence must be furnished is sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement and prove service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern status. Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses are due by 4:00 p.m. (MS T), 10 Dec 2004. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted.
