Description

HOSPITAL HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES AT FORT EUSTIS, FORT STORY, AND FORT MONROE, VA. Solicitation number W81K04-05-R-0007 Points of Contact are Ms. Sharyl Carlson, Contract Specialist (210) 221-3179 and Ms. Barbara Peterson, Contracting Officer (210) 221 -4226. This requirement is for Non-Personal Services Hospital Housekeeping Services at McDonald Army Community Hospital at Fort Eustis, VA, and outlying facilities to include Fort Monroe and Fort Story. The contractor shall possess corporate, hospital hou sekeeping experience. The contractor shall have gained this experience as a result of being regularly engaged in the business of providing hospital housekeeping services in health-care/patient-care environments. The minimum level of acceptable experience shall be at least 24 months (full time) within the previous 36 months of the due date established for submission of proposal(s). Periods of acceptable performance may have been incurred at more than one site for at least 12 consecutive months at each sit e and cannot be gained at two or more sites concurrently. The Contract shall furnish all labor, supervision, management support, transportation, equipment, tools, materials and services to provide complete hospital housekeeping services. The total square feet is approximately 198,889. The base period of performance will be from 1 May 2005 through 30 April 2006 with four 1-year options. The solicitation will be issued on or about 29 December 2004. This procurement is set-aside for 8(a) businesses and onl y proposals received from responsible 8(a) business sources will be considered. The NAICS code is 561720. The Small Business Size Standard for this requirement is $14,000,000.00.
