Description
This posting is hereby modified to incorporate the following changes: In lieu of a quantity discount requirement a quantity range requirement of 1355 - 4168 each will be solicited. The government will determine which quantity will be procured at the time of award. The delivery schedule for this quantity range is based upon the highest quantity of 4168 each and is 2813 each due in Apr 2005 and 1355 each due in May 2005. Note 23 is also determined to be not applicable to this effort. This requirement is for the procurement of Igniter Spark Gas, NSN 2925-00-393-4670NZ, P/N AA124S-2 or 9044505-1 or 4038430 applicable to the F100PW100/200/220/229 engine(s). A quantity discount requirement will be solicited for the quantity ranges of 1 each - 1457 each, 1458 each - 2813 each and 2814 – 4168 each. The government will determine which quantity will be procured at the time of award. This item is a cylinder that is approximately 9 1/8 inches in length by 1 ¼ inches in diameter. The predominant material of manufacture is not available. Form, fit and function: Part ignites fuel/air mixture within core combustion chamber. The government may place an order against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement. The governments required delivery schedule based upon the median quantity range and is due by Apr 05. Items will be delivered to FB2039, Tinker AFB. The currently approved source(s) are Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT; Federal Mogul Aviation in Liberty SC; and Unison Industries in Jacksonville FL. No telephone requests will be accepted. The contracting office will accept requests for solicitations via fax number (405) 734-8776. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation will be made available to interested parties through electronic data interchange. This solicitation will be posted via the Federal Business Opportunities website http://epsa.satx.disa.mil. Notes 23 and 26 apply.
