- This posting is hereby modified to incorporate the following changes: In lieu of a quantity discount requirement a quantity range of 2069 - 6243 each will be solicited. The government will determine which quantity will be procured at the time of award. The delivery schedule applicable to the highest quantity for this range of 6243 each will be 4174 in Apr 2005 and 2069 each in May 2005. As of 17 Jan 02, OC-ALC will no longer provide drawings and specifications on compact disks (CDs). This data will be available exclusively for download at www.fedteds.gov. This requirement is for the procurement of Convergent Nozzle Seal Liners, NSN 2840-01-308-4469NZ, P/N 4078304 applicable to the F100PW229 engine. A quantity discount requirement will be solicited for the quantity ranges of 1 each - 2105 each, 2106 each - 4174 each and 4175 - 6243 each. The government will determine which quantity will be procured at the time of award. This item is approximately 15 inches in length by 4.5 inches in width by .5 inches in height. The predominant material of manufacture is Haynes 230. Form, fit and function: Convergent Seal Liners protect the Convergent Seal Assemblies from high exhaust gas temperatures. The government may place an order against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement. The governments required delivery schedule based upon the median quantity range and is due by Apr 05. Items will be delivered to FB2039, Tinker AFB. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR 52.209-1. Additional information may be obtained from the Source Development Office, OC-ALC/BC, 3001 Staff Drive, Ste# 1AC85A, Tinker AFB OK 73145-3009 or (405) 739-7243 or (405) 739-7244. The government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SAR’s as soon as possible. If the government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. The currently approved source(s) are Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT; Smiths Aerospace (formerly Dynamic Gunver Technology in Manchester CT. No telephone requests will be accepted. The contracting office will accept requests for solicitations via fax number (405) 734-8776. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation will be made available to interested parties through electronic data interchange. This solicitation will be posted via the Federal Business Opportunities website http://epsa.satx.disa.mil. Notes 23 and 26 apply.
