Description
The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, USBP Air and Marine Operations Center, El Paso, Texas, is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation HSBP1005Q0292 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-25. The RFQ will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Quoter SHALL INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISIONS AT FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items along with the firm?s DUNS number. Quoter must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration at www.ccr.gov at time of offer. THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The North American Industry Classification System code is 336412. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. A single award will be made. CLIN 00010 TSIO-520-M7B Continental Factory Rebuild Exchange Engine. Core S/N: 291726-R; Total Time: 1,600 hours; A/C S/N U206-04747; Aircraft: N243DR. Delivery of items shall be within 60 days after award of order. Delivery is to be FOB destination to the USBP Air & Marine Operations Center, 9C Butterfield Trail, El Paso, TX 79906. The Government will pay for the return of the core to the designated location. The provisions at FAR 15.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 12.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is applicable. Paragraph (a), evaluation criteria is as follows: Award will be made to the responsible Quoter who is technically responsive, with the lowest price. Additional instruction: HSAM 3052.247-72, F.O.B.
