- The Procurement Office of the Agricultural Research Service, South Atlantic Area, announces a proposed construction solicitation scheduled to be released in early 2005. The exact date has not yet been determined. Another pre-solicitation announcement will be made in FedBizOpps at least fifteen days before the solicitation is released. More specific information will be available in that notice. The following project is expected to be advertised. The project is entitled ?New Headhouse/Greenhouse, Gainesville, FL.? The work will include the construction of a new 2-bay greenhouse and a new headhouse. The estimated price is expected to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This is a preliminary notice only. If you request the solicitation package because of this notice, expect a delay before these documents are issued. Please do not make repeated requests simply because you do not receive the requested documents immediately. The date the synopsis (the notice issued 15 days before the solicitation is issued) is published in the FedBizOpps will be a good indicator of when you should expect a response to your request. Notification will be included in the synopsis if the solicitation will be available electronically through FedBizOpps. If it is, no hard copy solicitations will be issued. Be sure to be watching for the synopsis.
