Description: Micro-Hardness Tester (MHT) to be used in the Tinker AFB Materials Laboratory. The tester will be used to determine hardness of micro-constituents in metals and coatings both in production support and failure analysis investigation. The MHT will be provided as a turn-key system complete and ready to use in the laboratory. The MHT unit shall consist of a suitably configured PC system with pre-installed MHT software, CCD camera, MHT, and automation hardware. The PC system shall operate under the Microsoft Windows XP-Professional operating system and include all necessary hardware and software to support the automatic function of the hardness tester and related equipment.
