- This modification is intended to increase the total quantities by 5 each (FMS). The new quantities will be: 16 or 27 or 38. NOUN: Servo Valve Module Kit; NSN: 2915-01-226-1047NZ; PN: 351015; QTY: 11 or 22 or 33; U/I: Each; DELIVERY: Beginning April 2005 to Tinker AFB OK; APPLICABLE TO: F100 PW ENGINES; SIZE/DIMENSIONS: 3 inches x 3 inches x 3 inches ; PREDOMINANT MATERIAL: Steel; FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: Hydro Mechanical Servo Valve. Anticipated Solicitation Issue Date: 15 Nov 2004; Anticipated Award Date: 30 Dec 2004. No telephone solicitation requests well be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. Government Furnished drawings will not be provided with the solicitation. Due to approval requirements, it is not anticipated that a formal solicitation will be issued, however, if a potential source wishes to have a formal solicitation, one will be supplied. The award is expected to be made to sole source supplier Honeywell Intl (02LU7). Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Manager or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
