Description

DESC: 5315-01-135-4801, Part Number 9348353, The item to procure is a Pin, Spring, Slotted used on the M249 Machine Gun. Material steel AISI 1060 to 1095 or 55S17 of DIN 17 222. Overall length is 20.5 mm nominal; diameter is 2.85 mm nominal; mater ial thickness is 0.5 mm nominal and phosphate coating is required. Solicitation will result in a 3-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a guaranteed minimum of 2,478 each and a maximum total contract quantity of 30,000 each. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 22 Dec 04. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obliga tion and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amend ments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation incor porates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet.
