Description

This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the overhaul/repair of the AN/ARC-199 High Frequency Radio, NSN: 5821-01-167-8296 and its associated Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), RT-1432/U NSN: 5821-01-172-2924, AM-7201/U NSN: 5821-01-0172-2880, C-11245/U NSN: 5821-01-172-2879 and MX-10485/VRC-86 NSN: 5820-01-147-8635. Current source for overhaul/repair of the radio is Honeywell International Inc., Olathe, Kansas. A det ailed technical data package for the overhaul/repair of the radio and the Acceptance Test Procedures are not available. Embedded software is proprietary to Rockwell International. Companies capable of performing this effort must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AC (Perlman), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. Companies must demonstrate that they have intimate knowledge of the system and its associated software and have past experience performing work on similar systems. Compa nies will be required to warrant that the overhauled/repaired systems will perform satisfactorily when used for their intended purpose. Companies must have the knowledge and necessary test equipment to pre and post test the system. This synopsis is for in formational purposes only and not an offer for proposal.
