Description

The Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC) at Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a contract for the Headquarters, Army Medical Command (HQ MEDCOM) to Thomson Micromedex, 6200 South Syracuse Way, Suite 300, Greenwood Village, Colorado 80111-4740 for an Enterpise Subscription to Micromedexs, commerical, computerized, medical infor mation software database. The period of performance will be 1 January 2005 through 31 December 2005 with four 1-year options. This is sole source procurement. CHCC intends to solicit and negotiate only with Micromedex, under the authority of 10 U.S.C, 23 04 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy Government Requirements. All responsible offers will be considered. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code for this procure ment is 511140 and the size standard is 500 employees. Award will be made on or about 30 December 2004. Solicitation Number is W81K04-05-R-0004.
