Description: Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (FFP IDIQ) contract for the production of Tactical Hand Held Radios (THHR), engineering and technical support, and the establishment of an intermediate maintenance and life cycle support system for the AN/PRC-148 Multi-band Inter/Intra Team Radio (MBITR) through the use of MBITR kits, tools and test equipment. Operator and intermediate maintenance training are also included. This solicitation will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Thales Communications, Inc. Performance is to commence 31 December 2004.
