Description: The Technology Applications Contracting Office (TAKO) at Fort Eustis, VA has a requirement to procure fifteen (15) Storm Scope WX 500 to support the 160th SOAR (A). The equipment will include the processor unit, the antenna, and the Install Kit This next generation, passive weather detection system is compatible with CAAS Multi-Functional Display (MRD) thus alleviating the need for the independent screen found on the old WX-1000 that the WX-500 will be replacing. The proposed contractor for this effort is L-3 Communications Avionics Systems, Inc.
