Description

USDA,APHIS, PPQ has the requirement for general contractor services for the constuction of facilities for the production of sterile fruit flies located at the US Department of Agriculture, APHIS, Hawaii Fruit Fly Production Facility in Waimanalo, Hawaii. The work includes but is not limited to site work, underground utilities, underground waste storage tank, diesel generator, foundations, pre-engineered guard booth, security facilities and fencing. The Government will furnish various components of the project which will be identified in the solicitation. The Government has purchase pre-engineered building modules that will be erected by others on the foundation to be constructed under this contract. All work is to be done in accordance with the plans and specifications. Estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation will be available from this website on or about July 9. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to Davis Bacon. This procurement is set aside for small business under NAIC 236210 in accordance with USDA policy.
