- This combined synopsis/solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most updated information about this requirement. The due date and time for quotations/proposals is December 17, 2004 at 10:00 am. An original and two (2) hardcopies of the proposal are due at this time in addition to an electronic copy. In accordance with FAR Subpart 12.207 firm fixed price type contracts must be used for the acquisition of commercial items. Description of requirements. (See SOW, which has been uploaded to FedBizOpps under this Solicitation Number) Offerors must adhere to the provision at FAR 52.212.-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, to this acquisition. Offerors are to comply with the provisions at FAR 52.212.2 - EVALUATION-- Commercial Items. Offerors will be evaluated based on their ability to meet the requirements of the statement of work and the price offered. The basis for award will be best value. As the difference in offerors' product capabilities becomes more equal price will be more of a determining factor in the award decision. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications---Commercial Items, with its offer. FAR 52..212-4, contract terms and conditions--commercial items applies to this acquisition.
