Description

Project No. WRFD 03-5006A1, Construct Cabins, Tama at Tama Service Annex, Tokyo. GENERAL WORK SCOPE: Civil work includes (1) Assemble pre-fabricated log cabins which will be furnished by the Government; (2) Install new septic tanks and provide new sewer lines & manholes for cabins; (3) Provide water service line & valves for cabins and water pressure reducing valve and backflow preventer for each cabin. Electrical work includes (1) Install a new electrical panel board for prefabricated cabins; (2) Connect the existing secondary overhead feeder cable from the nearest existing pole to the new panel board for each cabin; (3) Install all required interior branch circuits per electrical plan and new panel board schedule; and (4) Connect a septic tank blower to the new panel board. SCHEDULE: The requirement consists of Base Bid (6 cabins), Option 1 (2 cabins) and Option 2 (1 cabin). Option 1 or/and Option 2 will be exercised at the time of award at Government’s discretion. Performance period for Base Bid is 135 calendar days. If Option 1 or/and Option 2 is/are exercised, additional 30 calendar days or/and 15 calendar days will be added. 3 cabins of the Base Bid are required to be completed and accepted within 60 calendar days. SITE ORIENTATION: Scheduled on 08 Mar 03, from 1000 hours, at Tama Service Annex. Please notify the Point of Contact in advance if you wish to receive the soliciataion package and participate in the Site Orientation. NOTE: THIS SOLICIATION IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES, WHICH ARE NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (25-FEB-2004).
