Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Thermo Finnigan 355 River Oaks Pkwy. San Jose, CA 95134. The new Zoex KT2004 loop modulated GCxGC system was installed in the existing HP 6890 GC. This HP 6890 has been specifically configured by Thermo Electron to be install with existing HP 6890 this is the only known system that can be integrated with CDC existing system which is the same manufacturer and model. CDC believes that this requirements is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This procurement is not set-aside for small business.
