Description
SECOND INDUSTRY DAY: Sponsored by the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center, Logistics Support Squadron, Defense Meteorological Satellite Program, Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, CO will host its second Industry Day forum on the MARK IVB Follow-On System Sustainment acquisition. This event is scheduled for Friday, 07 Jan 05 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in the Launch Room of the Centralized Integration Support Facility, Bldg 2025. The address is: 1050 East Stewart Avenue, Peterson AFB CO 80914-2902. The purpose of this second Industry Day is to provide interested parties and potential offerors an opportunity to receive further information on the MARK IVB follow-on system sustainment acquisition, and to provide feedback. Specifically, the forum will focus on providing further insight into the Air Force's vision for the procurement. The morning session will include a program and contact brief and the afternoon session will include one-on-one exchanges between those potential offerors that wish to participate in this exchange. As a result, along with your attendance notification, please indicate if you wish to participate in the one-on-one exchanges. The classification for the briefing is unclassified. Attendance will be limited to five (5) personnel per company/team. All notifications of attendance must be submitted via a Visit Request and include the following information, for each attendee: Name, Place of Birth, Date of Birth, Social Security Number, Clearance Level, Investigation Date, Date of Visit, Purpose of Visit, and Point of Contact, which will be Capt Marsh. The Visit Request must be signed by your respective Security Officer. Also indicate if you are a large or small business. Notification must be made, by e-mail, by Wed, 29 Dec 04, to Capt Richard A. Marsh at richard.marsh@cisf.af.mil. In addition, this notice serves to provide the public with notice that the draft Statement of Work (SOW) has been posted to the MARK IVB webpage available at https://www.cisf.af.mil/mkivb. The SOW can be located via the link titled, "Mark IVB Draft Documents." You are encouraged to review posted documents carefully and send your questions and comments via the link titled, "Submission of Comments/Questions Regarding Mark IVB Sustainment Acquisition" within the webpage. Be reminded that it is your responsibility to check the webpage often, as this organization may post new documents, and changes to those documents, on the webpage without notice to potential offerors. Small Business companies with the capability to perform/support this requirement are encouraged to participate. The small business size standard for this requirement is NAICS 541710. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. Verbal responses will not be accepted.
