Description
The contractor shall supply all personnel, material, equipment, and transportation required to perform various engineering and installation tasks as outlined in individual Delivery Orders (DO?s), this SOW, Appendix 30 and the Equipment Performance Specification (EPS). All work shall be completed IAW applicable local regulations and all regulations stated below. In general, delivery orders include engineering and installation requirements outside the scope of 86 CG personnel that support the following services: Perform communication expanded service work orders in support of the Base Telecommunications System (BTS). Examples of expanded services include, but are not limited to: future equipment installations, removals or relocations; installation or removal of cables/transmission media as required to support new requirements; installation of telecommunications wiring in dormitories, military family housing, visiting airmen?s and officer?s quarters, temporary lodging facilities, etc. It is anticipated that this contract shall cover all military facilities in the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) and Sembach Annex. The KMC is defined as Ramstein AB, Kapaun AB, Vogelweh AS, Einsiedlerhof AS, Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Pulaski Barracks, Weilerbach Weapons Storage Area and any government owned infrastructure connecting these facilities. Tasks assigned may encompass several areas simultaneously or may be limited to one. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be a 5 year (1 year with 4 one year options) Firm-Fixed price IDIQ contract with a not to exceed $15 Million ceiling with no guaranteed minimum. The government is looking for comments from industry as to the commerciality of the Statement of Work and whether or not Industry would be interested in submit a proposal on this acquisition when the Request for Proposals is issued.
