Notice of Intent to Sole Source. The National Park Service intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Westwind Contracting, Inc. 3501 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd., Pembroke Park, Florida, 33023-5732, Certified Small Business for Environmental Remediation Services, to continue to provide land clearing and requirements thereof including additional acreage, installation of benchmarks, site preparation, vegetation and substrate removal, ground surveys, and site clean up at the Hole in the Donut, Everglades National Park, Florida. This intent is based in part on Westwind Contracting, Inc. current contract award for which they were selected as the highest technically rated, low cost offeror on a competed Request for Proposals (RFP). To ensure the continued efficiency and success of the project with respect to Westwind's qualifications, time and experience gained, the National Park Service intends to negotiate and award a base period of one year with the option to extend four one year periods. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and serves as a procurement notice in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1). Authorities: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. The NAICS code is 562910 and the associated size standard is 500 employees.
