Description

INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES related to Workman's Compensation Claims, National Park Service, Division of Risk Management (DRM), Denver Colorado, Request for Proposal (RFP) / Solicitation Number N2430050005. The National Park Service seeks to award a firm, fixed-price, Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) services contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. The work of this contract is national in scope. The contractor must provide the NPS with investigative services to assist in identifying, reducing and minimizing fraud and abuse of workers' compensation benefits administerd by the OWCP of the Department of Labor. Work includes Revalidation Assessments, Administrative Fact Finding, and Alive and Well Home Visits. This IDIQ contract is available to all Bureaus of the Department of the Interior, including the National Park Service (NPS), the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Minerals Management Service (MMS), Office of Surface Mining (OSM), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). Only investigators who have a proven and verifiable record as specialists in OWCP claims shall conduct assessments of current worker's compensation claims. The NAICS code for this project is 561611; the small business size standard is $10.5 million. Contract duration is for one base year and up to four option years at the option of the government. This RFP is a "Best Value" procurement where the offerors capability is more important than price. This procurement is setaside for small business. The National Park Service welcomes and encourages the participation of small, disadvantaged, and women owned business enterprises. A full solicitation will be place on www.fedbizopps.gov. (See FEDBIZOPPS search help, below) approximately December 20, 2004. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following. The RFP terms and conditions and the statement of work will be available ONLY on the FedBizOpps website, and individual requests for solicitation packages will NOT be accepted.
