Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation notice. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be provided upon request. RFQ N00102-05-Q-0535 will be issued with a closing date of 12/15/04 at 3:30 pm local closing time. To request a copy of the solicitation email to: Cookvl@mail.ports.navy.mil or fax a written request to: 207-438-1251. Telephone requests will NOT be honored. The clauses at 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 commercial provisions will be included. All rooms must meet or exceed the standard minimum room requirements and specifications. Requirements at a minimum are: 250 square feet with a microwave, coffee maker and a refrigerator with freezer not to be less than 3.2 cubic feet in size. Location of property must be 20 miles or less from the sub! -base New London. Also, 19" or larger TV with remote, a TV comfortable viewing chair, not to be construed as a "dining" chair. A minimum of one double bed or larger. All other specifications are included in Section C of the RFQ. A total of two (2) lots. Rooms to commence 01/07/05 through 02/10/05, to be cumulative in total number of room days. Offers will only be accepted at less than the current lodging per diem rates in accordance with the JTR (Joint Travel Regulations). One award will be made to the technically acceptable, low offeror. A written solicitation is required to submit an offer. All offerors much provide a valid email address for response to offers and awards. All contractors are required to be registered with CCR (Central Contractor Registration) repository.
