Description
Sources are being sought by MCLC Albany, GA, for the purchase of Analog Telephones in accordance with the specification listed herein. Our intent is to solicit by Full and Open Competition and this notice is issue to determine whether commercial contractors are interested in competing for this requirement. All responsible sources may respond to the synopsis and all such responses will be fully considered by this agency. No contract award will be made on the basis of any responses to this notice because the sources sought synopsis shall not be considered as a solicitation. No solicitation exists. Connects by 4-wire via binding post when operated in point-to-point mode between phones. Supports CTAV wiring by utilizing an RJ11 connector that is in parallel with binding post. Support DTMF dialing function. Operates in central or local battery. Selectable ring and volume control in high, low, and silent mode. Feature electronic signaling from a single button. Pressure release valve for altitude change. Support point-to-point mode. Have a maximum standby current draw of 1 milliamp Operating Characteristics: Be constructed of commercial off the shelf, ruggedized material per MIL-STD-810 Have a transmission range of 300 to 3500 HZ Support the H-250 Handset Visual signals (red) for incoming, off hook, low battery, and line test situations with an option for turn off Comprises a mechanical hook switch, retaining Objective weight is 3.3lbs with a threshold of 5.3lbs Dimensions are: Objective 8.6 in. Can be operated and maintained by personnel with eight grade reading level. Other Requirements: Provide limited documentation for: (1) Repair (2) Preventive maintenance (3) Operating instructions with each phone.
