Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this effort is R-DEN-01990. This requirement is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-25 (Correction). This solicitation is a cascading set-aside procurement under North American Classification Code 541191 (Title Abstract and Settlement Offices). The applicable size standard is $6 million. The U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has a requirement for commercial closing agent services for HUD-owned single-family properties located in Northern California counties of Merced, Kern, Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Madera, Mariposa, Stanislaus, Alameda, Contra Costa, Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Monterey, Napa, San Benito, Santa Clara, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Tuolumne, Yolo, and Yuba under the jurisdiction of the Santa Ana Homeownership Center (SAHOC). Offerors are advised that the following Federal Acquisition Regulation Clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52-212-1 (Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items), 52.212-2 (Evaluation ? Commercial Items), 52-212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items) and 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items). Offeror must include a completed contract provision at 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items) with its offer. All clauses are available in the supplemental documents to this notice.
