- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Dental Assistant Services for the Federal Correctional Institution, Ray Brook, New York, located on Old Ray Brook Road, Ray Brook, New York. The contractor is to provide dental assistant services to include: taking radiographs, including panoramic x-rays; develop, mount, and identify all radiographs; maintain office equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules; manage inventories of supplies; maintain maintenance paperwork and bin cards; and pouring up all dental impression models. The contractor shall have a high school diploma or equivalence, verifiable experience in office, computer, and organization skill qualities. Minimum qualifications are individuals who have completed a certified dental assistant course and/or have greater than one year experience in the dental assistant field. The contract shall consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities are 1,560 (1) one hour sessions for the base period and each option period excluding Federal Holidays (not to exceed 30 hours per week). The solicitation will be made available on or about December 20, 2004 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is January 20, 2005. Anticipated date of award is February 20, 2005. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
