Description

The Army Contracting Agency, ITEC4, on behalf of DTIC, has a requirement for a contractor to operate the Chemical Propulsion Information Analysis Center (CPIAC). The contractor shall perform all functions necessary to fulfill the mission and purpose of CPIAC. These functions include all aspects of identified or potential military, national security-related and dual use applications of propulsion technologies, as well as the development of tools and techniques for the collection, analysis and dissemi nation of propulsion Scientific and Technical Information (STI). The CPIAC contractor shall respond to a wide range of customers with diverse propulsion Mission Area needs within areas of chemical propulsion related to all STI aspects of missile, space an d gun propulsion technology. The CPIAC contractor shall provide timely and authoritative information to R&D concepts and acquisition functions, results and trends, applications and processes, assessments of Propulsion on military operations, and assessmen t of international R&D technology. The contract services will be competed on a full and open basis. The contract type is Cost Reimbursement, Requirements type of contract. The contract shall be for a three-year base period, with one four-year option and one three-year option, for a total of ten years, if all options are exercised. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or about the week of February 21, 2005. The contractor must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance.
