Description: Service contract to provide heat straightening services for repair of 2 damaged miter gate leafs from Mel Price Lock and Dam. Each leaf is approx. 62 ft x 58 ft. Services will include providing all necessary personnel, equipment and materials requi red to straighten bent structural steel members on the miter gate leafs. Structural members include plate girders, diaphragm plates, diagonal straps and angles. All work will take place at the St. Louis District Service Base and shall be coordinated with other repair work on the miter gate leafs. Contractor will be responsible for all transportation of personnel, equipment and materials required to complete the work required.
