Description

Provide all support maintenance, needed modifications, breakdown, trouble calls, and emergency repairs on all Association of American Railroad (AAR) machine shop equipment located at the Defense Generator and Rail Equipment Center, 6233 Aspen Avenue , Bldg 1701, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, 84056. All work must be accomplished In Accordance With (IAW) applicable Association of American Railroads Manuals, and manufacturers service/repair manuals. Railroad unique equipment to be serviced as follows: Boring Mill, Axle Lathe, Wheel Lathe, & 400 Ton Press. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS --- North American Industry Classification System Code is 811310; size standard is $6,000,00 0. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Estimated issue date is 9 Dec 04. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electr onically as will any amendments thereto.
