Description

This synopsis for the Tote Box, NSN: 3990-00-795-3595, P/N: 0CY331211 will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, 5-Year IDIQ Requirements Contract. Requirements are for an estimated quantity of 100,000 each over a five (5) year period. D ESC: The Tote Box (wash pan) is used for receiving drainage of boiling liquid and hot motor vehicle oil from transportation equipment and for cleaning of parts in various automotive maintenance/repair and machine shops. FOB is DESTINATION. The estimated i ssue date for the solicitation is 27 Dec 2004. The solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download the solicita tion on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet http://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government i s under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtai n any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation does not include a Technical Data Package (TDP); however, a Description for Purchase (DFP) will be included as an attachment to solicitation.
