- The following is hereby incorporated into the combined synopsis/solicitation: 1. Item 4. Tasks/Deliverables. Initiative 1 and Initiative 2: Depending on the schools selected, the contractor shall develop a Leadership Academy that will include early childhood/elementary school, middle school, high school, PK-12 and K-12. 2. Initiative 2: Success 101 Curriculum. Task 2 and Task 3: The contractor shall use existing curriculum and programs to develop a Success 101 Curriculum Module. The Success 101 Curriculum shall build on existing programs and refine for applicability to the interests of students attending Bureau funded schools. This will save time, resources, and avoid duplication of what?s currently available. 3. The REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE EXPERT PROVIDER section is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE EXPERT PROVIDER: 1. The expert provider shall have experience working as a consultant and/or work with schools on or near Native American Indian reservations. 2. The expert provider shall have experience as a teacher, administrator (Principal, Vice Principal, or Superintendent) and/or education specialist. This experience shall be at all levels of education from Elementary thru Post-secondary. 3. The expert provider shall have a post-secondary degree in the field of education. 4. The expert provider shall have experience working with issues related to leadership and leadership training or counseling. This experience shall include experience in the area of working with Native American Indians both as adults and as young people on leadership development. 5. The expert provider shall have experience working on the issues of substance abuse and preventative programs targeted at Native American Indian youth. The due date for receipt of quotes is hereby changed to December 13, 2004; 8:30am, Local Time (Albuquerque, NM). Quotes may be faxed to (505) 248-6941 or emailed to dgutierrez @bia.edu. Quotes must be received by the due date and time. No late quotes shall be accepted. All other terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect.
