Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NUWC Division Newport intends to place a contract with Acucal Inc., Manassas, VA for the purchase of on site calibration and repair services at the SESEF facilities located in Virginia Beach, VA.; Mayport, FL.; San Diego, CA.; and Hawaii. This work requires the use of specially equipped, environmentally controlled calibrations vans to perform calibration per NAVSEAINST 4734.1; NUWCDIVNPTINST 3141.1C and ANSI Specifications Z540 that covers the range of microwave and electronic test instrumentation resident at these facilities. All other timely offers will be considered. NAICS Code is 541990. NUWC anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract for 6,000 manhours over a five year period of performance.
