Description: The Strategic Systems Programs intends to contract with Stone Engineering to provide technical analysis, investigations, and evaluations of the D5 missile solid rocket motor 1.1 propellant ingredients, energetic formulations, development and production techniques, failure characterization methodologies, as well as assess possible environmental and safety issues for the Trident missile system. Stone Engineering is the only known source with the in-depth knowledge and understanding of the D5 propellant 1.1 ingredients, as well as detailed knowledge and expertise of the FBM missile rocket motors, gas generators, igniters, nose fairing, and eject motors, to perform the required services.
