Description
U.S. TREASURY INTERNATIONAL ENFORCEMENT RESIDENT ADVISOR The U.S. Department of the Treasury?s Office of Technical Assistance is recruiting an individual on a competitive basis to serve as Resident Advisor under the Financial Enforcement Program for resident advisors positions in Armenia and Albania. QUALIFICATIONS: Treasury is seeking candidates who possess expertise in financial crime law enforcement issues, including the investigation of white collar crimes, forensic accounting, internal auditing, internal controls, and principles and practices of program administration, relating to compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations of government or private entities. Specific experience in such areas as interpreting and applying rules, regulations, policies and procedures, developing and implementing internal controls, proactively ensuring compliance and investigating potential administrative and criminal violations is desired. Prior experience working as an investigator or management official of an inspector general?s office, work overseas, training in challenging environments and foreign language fluency are helpful factors and should be highlighted. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. resident aliens. SALARY AND BENEFITS: Salaries will be negotiated in accordance with program regulations based on demonstrated salary history. The salary ranges are from $85,000 to $145,600, subject to January 1, 2005 cost of living adjustments (COLA). Overseas benefits are provided as allowed by Federal regulations. Successful applicants will be subject to a background investigation at the appropriate level.
