Description
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), The Office of Prevention, Pesticides and Toxic Substances (OPPTS), anticipates conducting an 8(a) competition to award a level of effort, cost reimbursement contract to provide for non-technical support services for meetings and conferences for OPPTS program offices. The work performed by the Contractor shall include all activities necessary for the conduct of a successful meeting or conference; including, arranging all transportation needs for attending meeting participants; selecting hotel accommodations (including price, performance and environmental considerations, i.e. "green conferencing" in the selection of a particular hotel) and selection of a meeting facility. Tasks also include procedures for communicating with meeting participants as well as other general practices, registration, and dissemination of meeting related information to participants before, during, and after the meetings/conferences. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210. The Size Standard is $30.0 million. The anticipated contract will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) type with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The basic quantity per period will be 7,000 hours with an option to increase the quantity by 4,000 hours per period. The Request for Proposal will be posted on the internet on or about 4 January 2005. Proposals shall be due approximately thirty (30) days after the RFP issuance date. Only one copy of each available document will be issued to any corporate entity, regardless of the number of requests from one or more different geographic regions.
