Description

The work shall consist of, but not limited to, providing all labor, materials, transportation and performing all work necessary for improvements to 132 Military Family Housing (MFH) units. The MFH includes 33 buildings (4 units/building) in the Washington Heights neighborhood on Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. Option items include providing additional site landscaping/fencing to separate play areas from residential back yards (Option 1) and covered parking stalls at the rate of 1 covered parking stall per unit (Option 2). The covered parking is one structure per building with 4 parking spaces underneath. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract specifications and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. This project will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. The successful offeror must be licensed and registered to perform work in the country of Japan. Contact the United States Embassy, Tokyo, Japan to inquire how to become licensed to perform work in Japan. Magnitude of construction is between ¥1,254,900,000 ($10M) and ¥3,137,250,000 ($25M) NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-SEP-2004).
