- SYNOPSIS: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office (SCRO) Grand Prairie, Texas, plans to issue IFB No. 510026214 to construct a outside warehouse (approximately 40,000 square feet) at the Federal Correctional Institution La Tuna located two miles south of Anthony, Texas. The successful contractor will be required to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and drawings to include all labor, materials, equipment and tools. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation will be available on or about October 21, 2004. The anticipated deadline for receipt of bids, to the address listed on the solicitation, is November 23, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. (local time in El Paso, Texas). The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
