Description
Architect-Engineer services for the 911th Airlift Wing, Coraopolis, PA., 15108. Anticipated contract will be an indefinite delivery type where the work will be required on an “as-needed” basis. The period for the contract is for one year with an option to extend for four additional one-year option periods. The contract’s maximum monetary limit is $400,000 per year, with a minimum of $5,000 guaranteed only in the basic year, and against which individual orders up to $299,000 may be written during the life of the contract. Work includes site investigation, calculations, cost estimates, design specification and drawings for various architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, sanitary and environmental work, generally for repair, maintenance and alteration (new construction) type projects. The initial proposed project is intended to be “Alter POL Access Routes”. Firms should not limit their work experience or qualifications to the initial project proposed. Evaluations will be based upon the criteria listed at FAR 36.602-1, and DFARS 236.602-1. No contract for the construction of a project shall be awarded to the firm that designed the project or its subsidiaries or affiliates, except with the approval of the head of the agency or authorized representative. To be considered for architect-engineer contracts, a firm must file with the 911th Airlift Wing/CONF/LGC, the Standard Form 330, “Architect-Engineer Qualifications,” Part II, and when applicable, the SF 330, Part I. Firms responding within 30 calendar days after publication shall be considered. Estimated contract start date is March 2005. See Numbered Note 24.
