Description

The US Department of Agricultural, Agricultural Research Service in Hilo, HI has a requirement to have three fume hood fans replaced on roof of building G USDA ARS PWA 920 Stainback HWY Hilo, HI 96720. Our research staff will be conducting a site visit at 10:00 am 12-15-2004 for all interested firms who make an appointment to attend, to review the site prior to submitting a proposal. Interested firms must make an appointment to attend the site visit in advance otherwise there will not be anyone present at the location to conduct the site visit. Appointments and requests for RFQ?s can be made by fax 510-559-6023 to the attention of Fred Gifford as listed in this notice. Scope of work? there are three (3) total fans w/housings that need to be replaced: GREENHECK, Model SFB-12-7, forward curved, 1700 cfm. (2 each) GREENHECK, Model SFB-10-4, forward curved, 960 cfm. (1 each) all will need an additional corrosion-preventive coating on the interior and exterior surfaces including the motor housings and motor supports. The existing motors will be reused. Insurance requirements per AGAR 452-228-71 & FAR 52-228-5 apply. Set-Aside for small business concerns.
