Description

The Contract shall provide all labor, equipment and materials not supplied by Government and listed in section 200.10 for the installation of unplasticized Poly(Vinyl Chloride) (PVC) C900 plastic water pipe with integral bell and spigot joints for the conveyance of water from a containment pond to filtration building located at Mixed Waste Management Facilities within the boundaries of the Savannah River Site. Offerors must register on this website in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent postings. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration as prescribed by FAR Clause 52.204-7 can be obtained by accessing the Internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Any questions concerning this solicitation, fax: (803) 725-1807 or contact telephone numbers indicated. 200.10 - The C900 water pipe lengths and its lubricant is provided by the Government and meets the requirements of AWWA C900, AWWA Standard for Poly (Vinyl Chloride) (PVC) Pressure Pipe and Fabricated Fittings, 6 in. diameter for Water Distribution. This provided pipe is Class 100 pipe and conforms to the requirements of DR25. Standard laying lengths are 20 feet (? 1") for all government provide piping. Control wiring to be installed in the trench with piping will be provide by Government. The Contractor shall provide all necessary materials recommended by the Manufacturer for C900 fabricated joints, bends and fittings, mechanical thrust blocks, posts and signs and erosion control measures as is necessary for the installation of this piping system.
