- Description
- The U.S. Department of Commerce, Aircraft Operation Center (AOC), located at MacDill, AFB, Florida, intends to inspect and repair as necessary P/N 54H60-77 Propeller Assembly, S/N N22054NR, repack the dome assembly and bench test the propeller for return to service. The propeller has been removed from WP-3D aircraft tail number N43RF located at AOC. Propeller will be shipped as an assembly on a propeller transportation stand provided by the AOC. The propeller was removed because of cracks in blade leading edges and de-ice boot damage. TSO is 105.3, TT is 12399.0. The contractor must be a certified FAA Repair Station and Authorized Hamilton Sunstrand Service Center covering this propeller type. Contractor must have performed and provide written proof of an IRAN, major repair or overhaul on this propeller type within the last 30 calendar days. The contractor shall provide all replacement parts, materials, and consumables. The Contractor shall, at its own expense, provide and maintain during the performance of this work a minimum of $150,000 of insurance. The cost of shipping the propeller to and from the contractor facility shall be the responsibility of the Government. Any business capable of providing this service is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 calendar days after publication of this notice. The NAICS code for this action is 721110. This service is being procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items Procedures. The Central Administrative Support Center (CASC), Acquisition Management Division (AMD), requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) before October 1, 2003.
