Description

DESC: 3110-01-342-4994 / 3110-01-342-4995, Part Numbers: 12592050 / 12592048. The items to procure are a Bearing Roller Taper for use on the M119A1 Howitzer. For NSN: 3110-01-342-4994: Bearing Taper Roller, Matl Bearing Quality carburizing grade all oy or through hardening grade alloy. Outside Dia 3.5433 inside dia 1.9685 x.974 wide. Suggested Sources on drwg: NTN Bearing Corp cage 23043, Timken Co cage 60038. For NSN: 3110-01-342-4995: Bearing Roller Taper, Matl Bearing Quality carburizing grade alloy or through hardening grade alloy. Outside Dia 3.3404 inside dia 1.7716 x.974 wide. Suggested Sources on drwg: NTN Bearing Corp cage 23043, Timken Co cage 60038.Proposed contract is a 3-year IDIQ, Small Business Set Aside. Requirements are minimum 400 each Bearing Roller Taper and 500 each Bearning Roller Taper. Estimated issue date is 12 Jan 2005. FOB is Destination. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal is instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria .army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitat ion has been released to the Internet. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by acc essing the following address via the Internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fac t unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to resp ond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY05 requirement.
