Description
Radio Frequency Survey System. The U.S. Army CERDEC is conducting a market survey of radio frequency (RF) survey systems. The systems should be man portable and cover the VHF and UHF bands with the potential to expend into HF and SHF. The system w ould use commercial off the shelf hardware and/or software to characterize an unknown RF spectrum and save the results to storage media for later analysis. The system should be capable of using worldwide AC and DC power. The system should include user-fr iendly control and display software that offers control of the receiver(s) and various displays that will allow an operator to perform an on-site analysis that includes determining the spectrum in use, interfering signals, and types of signals present. Vendors that have systems that do not satisfy all of the requirements, or exceed them, are encouraged to submit information on their systems. Requirements may be modified to achieve the best value. Vendors may submit information on complete solutions or individual products that may be used in a RF survey system. Responses can be of any format. Supplemental materials, such as brochures, white papers, briefings, specification sheets, lab and field test results, cost and schedule information, etc. are welcome. If you choose to submit proprietary information, mark it accordingly. Classified information will be accepted, but mark it accordingly and send it via proper channels. Interested parties may submit information to Director, US Army CERDEC I2WD, ATTN: AMSRD-CER-IW-IP, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. Inquires may be directed to Michael Gruen, (732) 427-2452, E-mail address: michael.gruen@us.army.mil or Robert Griffin, (732) 532-5414. Initial responses are requested by January 12, 2005.
