Description
NA This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation HAQ053004 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-25. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. See Numbered Note: 1. NAICS 322121; size standard of 500 employees. This will be a firm fixed-price contract for the Bureau of Land Management, Douglas County, Roseburg District, Oregon. Supply and deliver F.O.B. Asphalt Laminated Kraft Paper, 200 M. Submit unit price with a total bid price. Option for Increased Quantity - The contract allows for increased quantities not to exceed fifty percent (50%) of the total contract price. The additional quantities shall be like in all characteristics to those set forth in the contract. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor within the performance period specified in the Schedule of Items. Performance of the added item(s) shall continue at the same performance rate as the like item(s) called for under the contract and the contract performance period will be extended accordingly. Delivery time is: 128M - 2/6/05; 72M - 2/27/05. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Contractor shall supply and deliver asphalt laminated draft paper, 30-60-30, WITH glass fiber scrim, two layers with high wet-tensile strength (approximately 5 pounds per inch machine direction). Paper shall be cut in 36" x 36" sheets with a 6" X cut in the center of each sheet. PACKAGING: Paper shall be packed, unfolded, in tied bundles of 100 each. Paper shall be palletized, 4,000 each per pallet. The pallets shall become the property of the Government. PLACE OF INSPECTION: Final inspection and acceptance of paper will be made by the Government at the place of delivery: Bureau of Land Management, Fire Warehouse, 2300 N.W. Aviation Dr., Roseburg, Oregon 97470. Contractor shall notify consignee at least 24 hours prior to delivery, to arrange for unloading and acceptance at destination. Delivery shall be made between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays excluded. Pallets shall arrive at destination points on a flat bed truck/trailer which provides accessibility from sides for purpose of unloading at sites which have no loading dock facility. Unloading will be performed by Government personnel. PAYMENT: Measurement for payment will be made on the actual quantity of paper delivered in accordance with clause 52.211-16 Variation in Quantity (APR 1984) which contains a permissible variation limited to 5% increase and 5% decrease. Payment will be made at the unit bid price for actual quantities delivered and accepted by the Government. Contractor shall submit invoices to Bureau of Land Management, Roseburg District Office, 777 N.W. Garden Valley Blvd., Roseburg, Oregon 97470.
