Description

This contract contains construction of earthen dike, ditch plugs and swales. Major items of work include: approx.3,000 Cu Yds clearing and grubbing of earthfill for dike; approx. 17,700 Cu Yds excavation of portholes and swales; approx. 15 Ac seeding of the dike and main ditch plugs, swales and portholes; and approx. 300 Ft. of pipe, including Barrel Pipe -12? PVC and 18? Smooth Wall Corrugated HDPE pipe. The performance time is 60 calendar days (including mobilization). The estimated price is in the range of $100,000 to $250,000. The solicitation is subject to full and open competition with preferences to SBA certified Hub Zone and Small Disadvantaged Business concerns. The solicitation will be available for viewing and/or downloading from website, www.fedbizzops.gov, on or about January 4, 2005. Interested parties are invited to attend a site showing on Wednesday, January 19, 2005. The site showing will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Marion Field Office, 119 Palmetto Pointe Drive, Suite A, Marion, South Carolina. After a brief meeting a tour of the site will be held.
