Description

Provide ambulatory care services to eligible veterans assigned to the contractor by the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78229. NAICS Code is 622110; Size Standard is $29.0 million. This procurement is for full and open competition (Unrestricted). This procurement is being conducted IAW FAR Part 12, and Part 15. Requirements are to provide ambulatory procedures, routine, non-routine, non-urgent, outpatient and 23 observation care for veteran patients referred by the Chief Medical Officer, McAllen VA Satellite Outpatient Clinic, located at 2101 South Colonel Rowe Blvd., McAllen, TX, CMO or designated representative, Harlingen VA Satellite OPC located at 1629 Treasure Hills Boulevard, Harlingen, Texas and by the contracted Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located at 394 Military Rd., Brownsville, TX. Contract facilities are fully JCAHO accredited or AAAHC accredited if Ambulatory Surgery Center. Contractor will be required to perform any procedure identified in the Ambulatory Surgery Group (ASG) list published by HCFA. Ambulatory procedures/surgery refers to surgical or invasive diagnostic procedures performed by board-certified providers in a surgical suite or specialized area with pre-procedural and immediate post procedural care on the same day (23) hours or less) without hospitalization. The contract period is for one year from date of award with two (2) additional one-year options. The government intends to make a single award, but reserves the right to make multiple awards. The solicitation will be posted on or about December 21, 2004. Offers will be due February 8, 2005, 4PM CST. No hard copies will be distributed. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at this URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. Signing up for the bidder?s list in FedBizOpps will automatically electronically provide you with any amendment notification to this solicitation. No fax or web-based proposals will be accepted. Solicitation Number RFP 671-11-05 shall be listed on the outside of offeror's proposal for identification purposes.
