Description

Non-Personal Services for Repair and Rewind of Government owned electric motors in Accordance with Statement of Work. Base Year and Four Option Years. CLINs shall be established as a NOT TO EXCEED dollar amount for each contractual year. Contract or shall inspect Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) on-site at (DGRC), Hill Air Force Base, UT and provide a cost estimate at no charge for each potential delivery order. Delivery orders cost basis shall be established based on contractors, individual c ost estimates. Contractor agrees that prices for parts and/or material furnished under this agreement shall be included in the rebuild price. All shipping obligation to and from the contractors facility shall be at the expense and responsibility of the c ontractor. All billings shall be for actual work performed. GFE equipment is industrial based locomotive and power plant application and shall include, but is not limited to: AC generators, DC generators, AC motors, DC motors, Armatures, Rotors, Stators , and Traction Motors. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. North American Industry Classification System Code is 811310, size standard is $6 Million. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a )(7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Estimated issue date is 27 December 04. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under n o obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain an y said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
