Description

The National Park Service, National Capital Region will be soliciting for Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns experienced in monument restoration. The work of this project is located at the Maryland State Monument, at the Antietam National Battlefield, Sharpsburg, Maryland. The work includes but is not limited to stabilization of roof structure by replacement of the metal truss system supporting the copper roof dome and ceiling elements; removal and reinstallation of copper dome and statuary and copper ceiling panels to accomplish structural stabilization; cleaning granite arches, removal and resetting of top granite course, and resealing of masonry joints. The solicitation will be released on or before December 20, 2004. NO PAPER COPIES WILL BE ISSUED.
