Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, intends to award a sole source contract to Radstone Technology Corporation, 50 Tice Blvd., Woodcliff Lake, NJ 07677 for the following items: 1) Circuit Card Assembly, Peripheral I/O-2, P/N 68104576-900, 1 ea; 2) Circuit Card Assembly, Peripheral I/O-2, P/N 68104576-901, 1 ea; 3) Circuit Card Assembly, Servo Valve AMP-1, P/N 68104713-900, 1ea; 4) Circuit Card Assembly, CPU-20, P/N 68104145-804, 1 ea; 5) Circuit Card Assembly, Static Memory EXT-1A, P/N 68102925-803, 1 ea; 6) Power Supply Unit, ATR 28, Volt, P/N 68105244-900, 1ea. Radstone Technology circuit card assemblies (CCAs) are the only products that have been used and qualified in the existing shipboard system. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source using SAP and commercial item procedures as set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 7 Jan 2005 will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/.
