Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 334413, Size Standard 1000 Employees. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F1GPL143420200 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-25, Effective 04 Nov 2004. The Government intends to award one contract line item number (CLIN 0001) for Indium Gallium Arsenide (InGaAs) Infrared Camera. The camera must meet the following technical specifications: The camera must use an indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) array with 320 x 256 pixels, 100% fill, on 25 micron pitch. The wavelength response must be at least 1000nmto 1700nmwith 70% quantum efficiency. The camera must be externally triggerable at a rate of no less than 60Hz (full field). The camera must allow the use of smaller windows with frame rates of greater than 1kHz for 64 x 64 pixel window and greater than 10kHz for a 16 x 16pixel window. The integration time must be variable from less than 200 microseconds to greater than 10 milliseconds, with limitations imposed by frame rate and window size. The detected image must be available through analog and digital outputs. The analog output must be RS-170 compatible to allow monitoring with conventional closed circuit TV equipment. The digital output be be generated by a 12bit or better AJD converter, and must be compatible with existing data collection infrastructure. The digital output from the camera must be compatible with an EDT PCI-DV frame grabber card. Compatible in this context means that the camera must be able to be connected directly to the card with a single cable and without level or logic translations. The cameras must be physically small and lightweight because space on board the aircraft is limited. The maximum width must be 5 inches, the maximum height must be three inches, and the maximum depth must be 9 inches. The camera must accept industry standard C-mount lenses.
