- The US Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command, Atlantic, intends to issue a sole source purchase order with Appleton Marine Incorporated for crane parts. Appleton Marine, Inc. possesses necessary proprietary data to provide these parts. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.00. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within 3 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete as a result of quotes received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
